吉澤究（ヨシザワサダム）
1979年宮城県仙台市生まれ。仙台を拠点に活動。
2002年東北芸術工科大学情報デザイン学科卒業。
2004年から2016年までイラストレーターとして活動。その後、画家へ転身。
樹脂、コラージュ、油彩など、素材や技法にとらわれることなく、
多様な表現を取り入れながら制作を続けている。
日々変化する街並みに残る傷や染み、剥がれた壁の表情など、
風景の痕跡から人の存在を感じ、制作の着想を得ることも多い。
時代や環境の変化とともに作品も変化するという流動性を大切にし、
新たな素材や手法を探求しながら、国内外で作品を発表している。
記憶や感覚に根ざしたイメージをもとに、制作を行っている。

Sadam Yoshizawa
Born in 1979 in Sendai, Miyagi Prefecture; currently based in Sendai.
Graduated from the Department of Information Design at Tohoku University of Art and Design in 2002.
Worked as an illustrator from 2004 to 2016 before transitioning to a career as a painter.
He creates art by incorporating diverse forms of expression, unbound by specific materials or techniques—utilizing mediums such as resin, collage, and oil paint.
He often draws inspiration from traces found in the landscape—such as scars and stains on the ever-changing cityscape or the textures of peeling walls—sensing the presence of people within these marks.
Valuing the fluidity of art that evolves alongside changes in the times and environment, he explores new materials and methods while exhibiting his work both in Japan and abroad.
His creative process is grounded in imagery rooted in memory and sensation.
